Roger previously taught political science at Macalester College and the U of M. He chaired the National Legislative Program Evaluation Society, the Preservation Alliance of MN, and the St. Paul Historic Preservation Commission. He also held leadership roles at the Sierra Club and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
