Gary Rue

Gary Rue is a freelance composer who has written many scores for music theater throughout the United States, working with playwrights such as Steven Deitz, Kent Stephens, John Olive, Dan Pinkerton and Aditi Kapil, as well as Rhiana Yazzie, Kim Hines and Christina Ham, each contributors to this wonderful production. Gary is an instructor of composition at McNally Smith College of Music, where he teaches Creating Music Theater with History Theatre’s own Ron Peluso. He is delighted to once again be working with the intrepid History Theatre and yet another group of dynamite McNally Smith musicians in this presentation of 1968: The Year That Rocked the World.
