M. Cochise Anderson

Cochise, who is from the Chickasaw and Choctaw Nations of Oklahoma, is celebrating his 22nd year as a professional theatre artist, storyteller, traditional musician and educator. He recently received a Naked Stages Performance Art Fellowship and Verve Spoken Word Grant for his new performance piece, Methods of Mass Deception (premiering this year) and originated the role of Ancestor in the world premiere of The Master Butchers’ Singing Club at the Guthrie Theater.
