Back by popular demand!

Be a sweetheart this Valentine's Day and send a virtual musical greeting to your Valentine.

This unique gift is a great socially distant way to let someone know you are thinking of them this Valentine's Day.  Video options feature love songs performed by some of your favorite History Theatre actors. They will LOVE you for it and History Theatre will too. Proceeds will support History Theatre in paying artists and producing more stories you love.

Here's how it works

  • Click here to visit History Theatre's Valentune's donation page.
  • Make your tax-deductible donation of $25 or more.
  • Select the love song you would like to send.
  • Complete information about the recipient and add a short message to your Valentune.
  • We'll confirm your gift with an email.
  • Your Valentune will be emailed by noon on February 14.

Make your love song choice

Whether you want to express your "Puppy Love," tell a friend "You Rock," or send a simple "Love You" to your family, we have a song option to fit the sentiment!

Tea for Two

  • Performers: Jen Maren and Dane Stauffer
  • Song popularized by Doris Day in the musical film "Tea for Two" (1950)
  • Watch Tea for Two (1950) with Doris Day, click here
  • Sip on the sweet treat of "Tea for Two" sung by History Theatre sweethearts Jen Maren and Dane Stauffer of Glensheen. There is no shortage of comedy between these two in their duet arrangement of this classic and endearing tribute. Perfect for a dear friend, your Valentine, or any fellow Glensheen lover. Cheers!

Someone to Watch Over Me

  • Performer: Kevin Brown
  • Song by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, 1926
  • Listen to 1963 recording featuring Rosemary Clooney, click here
  • Your heart will be on your sleeve after hearing this slow-dance-worthy rendition of "Someone to Watch Over Me" performed by the lovely Kevin Brown. Kevin made his History Theatre debut in our season opener Not in our Neighborhood! but that was only the beginning of his time on our stage. You may have glimpsed him in Christmas of Swing but you certainly won't miss him playing Gordon Parks in our upcoming production of Parks: A Portrait of a Young Artist.

David Lohman (Music Director and Arranger)

  • A special thank you to David Lohman, musical director of "Christmas of Swing" for his musical arrangements and accompaniment on the ValenTunes videos!
