History Theatre's Annual Benefit: Theater That Celebrates!

We are so excited to share with you that we've selected a new venue for our Annual Benefit! Join us for our annual celebration dedicated to fostering new play development at the Essence Event Center in the charming Historic Bandana Square. Mark your calendars for an exciting event: History Theatre's Annual Benefit: Theater That Celebrates! Join us on June 25 at 5:30 PM for an exciting evening featuring a cocktail hour, dinner, auction and a lively and entertaining program to follow.

The Essence Event Center is nestled within The Chimneys, a historic building that has been around even before Bandana Square. Built in 1895, The Chimneys served as a key component for the Northern Pacific Railway, known as The Como Shops. The building’s iconic chimney smokestacks serve as a lasting reminder of its origins as a bustling blacksmith shop. Grand arches create a striking and dramatic entrance, originally designed to accommodate the passage of massive locomotives through the building.

The Evening

  • 5:30 p.m. - Cocktails, Hors d'oeuvres, Silent Auction
  • 6:30 p.m. - Seated Dinner followed by a live program with performances from History Theatre artists and a Live Auction

Individual Tickets ($125)
  • Admission for one to the event and a meal
VIP Tickets ($250)
  • Admission for one to the event, a meal, one complimentary drink, a VIP gift bag
Table Sponsor ($2,000)
  • Admission for 8 individuals and the following for each person: a meal, one complimentary drink, a VIP gift bag, and special recognition at the table and in event signage
Artist Sponsorship Ticket ($125)
Purchase an Individual Ticket to sponsor an artist’s attendance at the event.
  • Admission for one artist and a meal
Host Ticket Single ($500)
  • Admission for one individual and includes admission, a meal, one complimentary drink, a VIP gift bag and special recognition at the table and in event signage
Host Ticket Pair ($1,000)
  • Admission for two individuals and includes the following for each person: admission for two, a meal, one complimentary drink, a VIP gift bag and special recognition at the table and in event signage
