The 2025-26 season is full of new plays and musicals created by a diverse group of playwrights through a unique new play development process that provides the opportunity to bring authentic stories of real people to life.

Support Working Artists at History Theatre
You can also make a gift to support the Ron Peluso Artistic Futures Fund.
In honor of Ron’s 27 years of leadership, we have established the Ron Peluso Artistic Futures Fund. Donations to this fund will support the salaries of actors, musicians, designers, directors, choreographers, technicians, and other production staff for the mainstage shows.

Support New Play Development Fund
You can also make a gift to support the Lance Belville Fund for New Play Development.
Thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous funder, History Theatre has established the Lance Belville Fund for New Play Development. Honoring the memory of History Theatre’s founding Playwright-In-Residence and eventual co-artistic Director. Gifts made to this fund support the Theatre’s investment in new works through playwright commissions, paying playwrights a competitive rate.
