History Theatre respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Nothing you don’t give us. This site has no user accounts and no comment forms. Browsing it doesn’t require telling us who you are.
- Ordinary server records. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics and advertising measurement. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (which pages are popular, how visitors find us) and a Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure whether our ads reach people. Both use cookies. You can opt out with browser settings or tools like the Google Analytics opt-out, and this site honors those choices.
What happens on other websites
The important transactions all happen with trusted partners on their own sites, under their own privacy policies:
- Tickets are sold through our ticketing partners (Ludus and CenterStage Ticketing). Payment details go to them, never to this website.
- Donations are processed by DonorPerfect.
- Newsletter signups are handled by our email provider.
Pages here may also embed content from other sites (such as videos). Embedded content behaves as if you had visited that other site directly.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your information. We don’t share it except with the service providers named above, or if the law requires it.
