Remembering John Fenn

History Theatre was saddened to hear of the passing of playwright John Fenn. John’s play, A Servants’ Christmas, was produced 15 times at History Theatre between 1980-2022, bringing light and warmth to our holiday season for countless performances.

“John was an absolute joy to work with.  As a playwright, he was open to all the voices in the room and was an exuberant spirit who touched everyone with his passion, generosity....and a big and enthusiastic heartfelt laugh!”  - Former Artistic Director Ron Peluso

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of John Fenn, a truly generous spirit. Fresh out of college I had the honor of playing Anne in John’s A Servants Christmas at the History Theatre. A few years later I was back in this beautiful play, but as Monica. Fast forward many years to 2022 and I am now collaborating as choreographer for the musical version with John attending some rehearsals and many performances. What a delight. John brought a glorious exuberance wherever he went. -Tinia Moulder

Remembering Clyde Lund

"Over the years at History Theatre, Clyde has been a brilliant and generous actor in Tomboy Stone, A Couple of Blaguards, Tuesday with Morrie, and finally as Harry Blackman in Courting Harry. Funny, passionate, and above all, Clyde was kind to everyone in the room. He was a sweet soul.

- Ron Peluso, History Theatre Artistic Director (1995-2022)
